I'm catching up on schoolwork today, so in the meantime I thought I'd share some recent favorites of mine...
Favorite things from the past couple of months...
- The tea I've been consuming lately is Tazo's Wild Sweet Orange (herbal). It's lovely, and meshes lovely with my coconut oil sweetener. Then, other day, I was in Whole Foods (a dangerous place for my wallet), and of course there was a free sample stand for Suja cold pressed juice, and of course it tasted great and I loved it, and of course they happened to be handing out coupons, and of course I justified spending $3.50 on this one small bottle of juice, and of course I think that's all crazy with my college budget. And of course I recommend it as well.
- The new Disney movie Frozen was my favorite from last year. I had the DVD on pre-order and have been counting down the days for it's release this week! You should probably go watch it if you've yet to see it, since it's now one of the best Disney princess movies EVER.
- I caved and used some of my extra Christmas money to pick up a new eye shadow palette. Several things I look for in a good palette: blendability, good pigment, staying power (I like to do my makeup once in the morning and have it stay put all day), and versatility, and by that I mean if I'm spending a pretty penny for a higher-brand, I better be using it frequently. Too Faced put out their Chocolate Bar Palette a couple months ago, and it does all of these things. Plus it smells like chocolate too in the palette, which how could you go wrong, right? I've used this pretty much every single day since getting it, so needless to say, I love it. The second makeup item is the L'Oreal Voluminous Butterfly Mascara. It's great if you're like me and like wetter formulas with your mascara. Plus it feels lightweight on; no weighed down, clumpy-sticky feeling when it's dry.
Reading around the blog-o-sphere with your morning joe: Who is the Good Samaritan, 4 Signs of a Woman Worth Following, May God Bless You with a Chocolate Croissant and Time to Linger, and Grief is Never Fair.
What happens when you magnify sand by 250 times? This awesomeness-wowness that's what.
Playing on my iPod lately: Sara Evans and Dave Barnes have new albums out that I love and have had on replay for days on end now, the Silver Trees (Free download can be found on their site at the moment), Marie Hines, and Royal Wood.
Now it's your turn! Share with me some of your favorite things lately in the comment section below!
